I'm a PhD ecologist (defending August 2026, University of Toronto) and native-bee & pollinator specialist offering subcontract capacity when your season is full. Available 2–3 days/week July–September, with more availability from October.
My specialty. Targeted native-bee and pollinator surveys with expert hand-netting, pan/vane trapping, and voucher-quality specimen handling. Protocol design or execution to your study plan — I can run the pollinator component your firm doesn't staff in-house.
Extra hands for vegetation sampling and Ecological Land Classification fieldwork during peak season. Quadrat and transect plots, cover estimates, and plant ID recorded to your data standards so it drops straight into your workflow.
Lab-based sorting and identification of insect samples and trap bycatch. Whether it's pollinator pan-trap contents or mixed arthropod bycatch from another program, I'll sort, pin, and identify to the level your project requires and return organized, database-ready records.
Fully remote. Hand me your raw field data and I'll draft the methods, results, and discussion in your template and voice — clean, technically sound, and ready for your senior review. Ideal for clearing a reporting backlog while your field crews stay in the field.
Reproducible analysis and publication-quality figures in R — community composition, diversity metrics, GLMs and mixed models, and clean ggplot graphics. You get the outputs plus documented, re-runnable code your team can reuse.
2–3 days per week through July–September, with substantially more availability from October onward. Tell me your peak weeks and I'll block time.
Remote report drafting and analysis are ideal around my August 31 defense — a good way to keep deliverables moving while my field days are limited.
Bring me on as a short-term seasonal contract employee or as an independent subcontractor — whichever fits your payroll and project structure.
Happy to talk through CGL insurance, data-handling, and field safety expectations on the first call so onboarding is quick and clean.
Send me your peak weeks and the components you need covered, and I'll tell you exactly where I can help. A 15-minute call is usually enough to scope it.
